6 Weeks Community Work and Adventure Program

Volunteer in a group for 6 weeks in Tanzania
You will spend 6 weeks and work with a team in different placements in Tanzania. The activities will involve teaching local children, practicing compassion, love and care for the orphans at the orphanage centers, exploring vast lakes, renovating remote school buildings, planting trees, and farming in vegetable gardens while living alongside some of the world’s most remote indigenous communities in Tanzania.
This program is organized 6 times a year and is fully immersive taking in all the sights and experiences with plenty of downtimes for you to explore the country as you please.
This project has two phases. First in Arusha city for 5 weeks and then the bush phase in Mto Wa Mbu, alongside Lake Manyara National Park for 1 week. You will be staying in tented campsites and will experience total bush life whilst working with Amani Children’s Home.
We recommend the full six weeks for a complete experience, but if you want to join this program for less than 6 weeks please email us prior to your travel and please refer to our price chart to see the price for your selected duration.

The community development volunteer projects in Tanzania are diverse and each brings a unique and exciting experience. When you volunteer in Tanzania you can help in so many ways beyond just giving aid.
No matter which project you chose in which to volunteer within Tanzania, you will have an important role to play and your efforts will be greatly appreciated. School children will benefit from the knowledge you impart. Your conservation efforts will contribute towards protecting local wildlife, and you will be part of preserving some of the unique and extraordinary ways of life in this country.

Zanzibar beach life

This is an optional package which is not inclusive of our price package. We, however, recommend doing this after the project. But for anyone who has limited time and would love to experience the beach life, white sands and the crystal clear waters of Zanzibar should let us know in advance so that we could arrange a schedule for them without affecting much of your volunteering program. We will also be glad to assist with necessary arrangements and logistics.
