ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in ArushaÂ
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha town. Take some time to settle in and rest, as the adventure begins the next day.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National ParkÂ
After breakfast, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park. This park is known for its large herds of elephants and diverse wildlife. You’ll enjoy a thrilling game drive and have the chance to see various animal species. In the evening, you’ll set up camp for an overnight stay within or outside the park.
Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Natron
Leaving Tarangire, you’ll journey to Lake Natron, known for its flamingo population and stunning landscapes. Your adventure begins with a hike to the alkaline lake’s shores, offering unique landscapes and vibrant pink flamingos. You’ll also explore nearby waterfalls, enjoying their refreshing cascades and scenic beauty.
For those seeking more adventure, there’s an optional hike partway up Oldoinyo Lengai, an iconic volcano, though the full ascent is a challenging multi-day endeavor. In the evening, return to your campsite near Lake Natron for a well-earned rest.”
Day 4: Lake Natron to Serengeti
Today, you’ll journey to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, home to the Great Migration and an incredible variety of wildlife. The drive to Serengeti offers the opportunity to see more of Tanzania’s beautiful landscapes. You’ll set up your camp in the heart of the Serengeti for a memorable overnight stay.
Day 5: Full Day in the Serengeti
Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains and diverse ecosystems of the Serengeti. With game drives, you’ll have the chance to witness the incredible wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, and herds of wildebeest and zebras. Return to your camp in the evening for another night in the Serengeti.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Begin your day with a morning game drive in the Serengeti, taking in the sights and sounds of this iconic park. Afterward, you’ll journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Here, you’ll enjoy an overnight stay at a campsite on the crater’s rim.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha
Early in the morning, embark on a game drive within the Ngorongoro Crater, where you can witness a high concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. After a memorable morning, enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before starting your journey back to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
