Day 1: Dar-es-Salaam to Nyerere National Park

Your 10-day Tanzanian adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Dar-es-Salaam. The journey to the magnificent Nyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous Game Reserve, offers scenic views. Upon arrival, you’ll check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a boat safari on the Rufiji River, a unique opportunity to witness crocodiles, hippos, and other wildlife. As the sun sets, you’ll return to your lodge for a tranquil overnight stay.

Day 2: Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park awaits. Day 3: Nyerere National Park

Day 4: Nyerere to Mikumi National Park

Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a morning walking safari that lasts 2 to 3 hours, allowing you to discover the smaller wonders of Nyerere National Park. Afterward, you’ll return to your lodge for lunch and then journey to Mikumi National Park.

Day 5: Mikumi National Park

Begin the day with breakfast, followed by a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. This park is often referred to as the “mini Serengeti” due to its diverse wildlife and landscapes. Keep your camera ready to capture the incredible sightings. After a full day of exploration, return to your lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Mikumi to Ruaha National Park via Isimila Museum

Enjoy breakfast before heading to the Isimila Stone Age Museum, where you’ll explore artifacts dating back thousands of years, providing insights into the region’s history. After the visit, you’ll continue your journey to Ruaha National Park for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Ruaha National Park

Day 8: Ruaha National Park

Day 10: Udzungwa National Park to Dar es Salaam
